Nominator's project description

Professor Haxell is well known internationally for her outstanding research in extremal and probabilistic combinatorics and graph theory. She has made fundamental contributions to the theory of matchings, colorings and to the study of quasi-randomness. Her work combines purely combinatorial techniques with probabilistic and topological approaches. During her stay in Germany she intends to continue her research on coloring and transversal problems in graphs and hypergraphs.
